The good life: A curated collection of classics
The prompt: Curate a collection of literature from the Barnes and Noble top 100 and design a series of book covers.
This collection of literature aims to redefine the “good life” and reduce consumerist behavior all while reconnecting humans to the beauty of nature.
This collection includes:
Sailing Around the World Alone by Joshua Slocum
Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
These stories allow us to truly understand nature and its role in our lives and encourage us to go out and experience the beauty for ourselves.
The collages on the covers were created by repurposing old magazines, books and print media. The collection of old ideas and materials have been reconstructed to form a fresh look at what true happiness really means.
